Andrés Garzon is a Colombian-Canadian queer artist. Working in multi-media, drawing, painting, and writing, his colourful and expressive artworks combine portraiture, still-life, and a language of symbols to explore themes of gay intimacy, nightlife, and nature. With a fun and experimental approach, Andrés’ practice covers a vast array of projects; solo and group exhibitions, large-scale murals, magazine and book covers, published illustrations and writing, album cover art, hosting and producing an arts podcast, live experimental art and music events, installation, poster art, workshops, and merch design. Andrés’ work in community organizing through HEAVEN and MAGICAL brings together artists, DJ’s, musicians and performers from a wide variety of disciplines, highlighting the eclectic and far-reaching talents of the London and surrounding queer scenes. Andres studio and community spot is located at 1034 Dundas Street East, London, Ontario.
